Since its birth,the Olympic movement has been closely associated with politics.Beijing hosted the Summer Olympics Games in 2008 and the Winter Olympic Games in 2022,becoming the only“Dual Olympic City”in the world.With unprecedented success,the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games defeated the attempt of international anti-China elements to slander and pressure China.The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics presented a more confident China to the world by holding a streamlined,safe and splendid event,winning high praise from the international community and highlighting China’s status as a major country of the new era.
