Where Is the DPRK-US Dialogue Going in 2020?——Review and Forecast of the Denuclearization Process on the Korean Peninsula

朝鲜半岛的气氛影响着整个东北亚局势的变化。2018年朝鲜与美国就"半岛无核化"问题达成共识之后,朝美关系明显缓和,但时至今日,无论在改善朝美关系上还是在半岛无核化问题上,都没有取得突破性进展。本文通过分析朝美关系发展现状,阐述美国对朝策略、朝鲜在朝美对话中的立场以及中国对朝鲜半岛问题的态度,梳理朝鲜半岛无核化进程,并对朝美关系进行展望。

The situation on the Korean Peninsula affects the whole Northeast Asia. After the DPRK and the US reached a consensus on the issue of "denuclearization of the peninsula" in 2018, the relationship between the two countries has eased significantly. However, no breakthrough has been made on the improvement of the DPRK-US relations or the issue of the peninsula’s denuclearization to this day. This paper analyzes the status quo of DPRK-US relations, expounds the US’s strategy towards the DPRK, the DPRK’s position in the DPRK-US Dialogue and China’s attitude towards the issue of the Korean Peninsula, analyzes the process of denuclearization on the peninsula, and offers a forecast of the DPRK-US relations.
