The Preface to the Poems of Youcilu is an article written by Gu Taiqing for the poetry collection of female poet Jin Xiaowei.This article has not been found in Gu's work collections such as Tianyouge Ji and Donghai Yuge that have been passed down,and is a lost piece with important literary value.This article not only demonstrates Gu Taiqing's ability to create ancient prose,but also provides new evidence for revealing her literary intercourse with the Qian family in Xiushui.
