A Studyof Some of the Hidden Meanings of Dream of the Red Chamber—From the Perspective of Confucian Culture

摘要 《红楼梦》的作者出生于诗礼簪缨之族,深受儒学传统(仁礼、性理两支)的浸润。小说中习为常见、平平道来的规矩、风度、见识往往都有着深刻、厚重的儒学背景。运用儒学的维度可以分析出其中更丰富的文化意涵与学理性渊源。此外,在贾、宁二府衰亡史的建构上,作者还借鉴了“以敬、怠为衰亡之几”的儒家历史哲学。“贾敬”、“宁府”的名号即包含了此层寓意,故有“箕裘颓堕皆从敬,家事消亡首罪宁”之说。儒学的分析不仅可以用于文本本身,还可用于作者,并通过对作者知解认识、心灵体验的分析来达到对文本主旨两歧性(“大旨谈情”与“色空”)的更深刻的理解。 The author of Dream of the Red Chamber was born into the nobility and was deeply influenced by the Confucian tradition(benevolence and etiquette,moral philosophy).The rules,demeanor,and insights that are common and common in novels often have aprofound and thick Confucian background.Using the dimensions of Confucianism,we can analyze the richer cultural meaning and academic rational origins.In addition,in the construction of the history of the decline and fall of the Jia and Ning families,the author also draws on the Confucian philosophy of history that“prudence is survival,and slackness is destruction”.The names of“Jia Jing”and“Ning Fu”contain this layer of meaning,so there is a saying that“the decline of the family begins with Jia Jing,and the Ning family must be blamed first”.Confucian analysis can be applied not only to the text itself,but also to the author,and to achieve a deeper understanding of the ambiguity of the main idea of the text(“with love as the subject”and“everything is nothing”)through the analysis of the author's understanding and understanding,and the experience of the mind.
