徐复观《文赋》研究的贡献

The Contributions of Xu Fuguan’s Research of WenFu

徐复观对《文赋》的研究主要体现在《陆机〈文赋〉疏释》一文。徐氏有感于前人的研究多训诂无根、条理无绪,不能作首尾贯通的理解,以致把一篇用心精密的文论糟蹋了,于是对《文赋》全篇注疏兼施,注的部分训诂字句精义,疏的部分作理论阐述,提出了许多有价值的意见。徐氏以"知人论世"的方法得出了《文赋》作于陆机四十一岁前后的结论,并开掘了《文赋》虑周、思深、意远的伟大成就。他对《文赋》中的"眇众虑而为言"、"犹开流以纳泉"、"或言拙而喻巧"、"应感之会"等句子别出新解,使诸多疑难一朝涣然。这些成就使徐氏《陆机〈文赋〉疏释》成为了《文赋》研究史上的一篇雄文。

Xu Fuguan’s Research of WenFucan be seen in The Annotation of Lu Ji’s WenFu.Xu Fuguan was not satisfied with previous studies,because he thought that the previous studies were disordered and couldn’t be understood thoroughly.He pointed that those studies could destroy a good composition,so he decided to make annotations"Zhu"and "Shu"for WenFu."Zhu"explains the meaning of sentences."Shu"explains some theories in WenFu and provides some valuable views for readers.Xu Fuguan got the conclusion about WenFu with the method of"comment the man and the world".Xu Fuguan also said that WenFu was written by Lu Ji when he was about 41 years old.Xu Fuguan figured out the careful structure,deep thoughts and great achievements of WenFu.He used a special way to explain some sentences,such as"Clumsy language but new metaphor".His explanations solved many difficulties in WenFu.All those achievements made Xu Fuguan’s The Annotation of Lu Ji’s WenFu become a great composition in the research history of WenFu.
