朱子诗经学的形成有其背景。从社会历史角度来看,社会制度的变化,导致旧有的解经体系不能适应宋代社会现状,因此宋儒重新解经,以求致用。从学术文化角度来看,理学的产生使得解经的倾向发生变化。再从诗经学自身发展的角度来看,《诗经》文本和《毛诗》传本一直在发生变化,《诗经》的解释也在不断变化,这导致二者都不能符合圣贤本意。朱子认识到了这一点,又受到当时的社会历史背景和学术文化背景的影响,建构了自己的诗经学,形成了一个新的权威《诗经》解释体系。

The formation of Zhu Xi’s study of The Book of Odes has its background.From the perspective of social history,changes in the social system,leading to the old exegesis system cannot meet the social situation in the Song Dynasty,and the Confucian scholars therefore reinterpretation,in order to real application.From the perspective of academic culture,the Neo Confucianism had changed the tendency of exegesis.From the perspective of the development of The Book of Odes itself,the text of The Book of Odes and the spread version of The Maoshi have been changing,and the exegesis of The Book of Odes is constantly changing,which leads to the inability of both.Zhu Xi recognized this point and was influenced by the social and historical background and academic and cultural background at that time.He constructed his own study of The Book of Odes and formed a new system of exegesis of The Book of Odes.
