摘要
"认识"是中国白话小说中频繁使用的词汇,在近代随着19世纪传教士编纂的英华词典一起传入日本。面对西方新概念的涌入,日本知识分子赋予"认识"其新的意思,用于弥补当时日文中有关学术词汇的不足。到了19世纪末20世纪初,中日近代语言交流史上出现"词汇逆流"现象,被日本赋予新概念的"认识"也随这股逆流大潮,流入近代中文体系。像这类产自中国,近代传入日本,赋予新概念后再回流到中文体系的汉字词,现已成为中日近代语言交流互动的一面镜子,同时也是汉字文化圈里的宝贵财富。
The word renshi(认识)is frequently used in Chinese vernacular novels and it was introduced into Japan through the English-Chinese Dictionary compiled by missionaries in the 19 th century.Renshi(认识)was endowed with new meanings by Japanese intellectuals after the influx of new concepts from the west,which made up for the deficiency of Japanese academic vocabulary.There was a first lexical countercurrent in the China-Japan history of modern language exchange at the end of the 19 th century and the early beginning of the 20 th century,which led to the flowing back of such words as renshi(认识)and the like endowed with new concepts by Japan to the modern Chinese system.The phenomenon of lexical countercurrent has become a mirror of the language communication between China and Japan in modern times and the Chinese characters involved in the lexical countercurrent is the common wealth of the cultural circle of Chinese characters.
