新的国际合作背景下涉外警务英语教学改革初探

On the Reform of Police English Teaching under the Background of New International Cooperation

近年来,随着国际执法合作与国际警务交流的不断加强,跨国执法办案不断增多,能够熟练有效地使用英语进行工作是新时期对我国警察的一项基本要求。但是,目前公安院校的警务英语教学还存在一定的不足,需要进行探索改革,以实现我国公安院校复合型、应用型的国际警务人才培养目标,服务国际化的公安实战工作需要。

In recent years,with the continuous international law enforcement cooperation and the growing international police exchanges as well as the increasing transnational law enforcement,it is a basic requirement for Chinese police to use English proficiently and effectively in the new era.However,there are still some shortcomings in police English teaching in police colleges around the country.Thus,it is urgent to reform police English teaching and explore the ways to achieve the college goal of training compound and applied international police talents,so as to meet the needs of internationalized public security practice.
