This paper firstly introduces the basic concepts of the Internet of Things technology,and then analyzes the role and application value of the Internet of Things technology in the smart grid,demonstrates the necessity of its application,and finally proposes a smart grid system construction plan based on the Internet of Things technology.Through the scheme in this paper,a smart grid system based on the Internet of Things technology can be successfully constructed,and the role of the Internet of Things technology can be fully utilized to fully support the system operation and improve the operation quality and efficiency.
