Ka波段矩形环弯曲杆慢波结构行波管的设计

摘要 面对行波管高功率和小型化发展趋势,适应微细加工技术的带状注慢波结构成为了研究重点.基于矩形环弯曲杆慢波结构设计了Ka波段行波管,在优化该慢波结构的传输特性基础上,仿真计算了行波管的注-波互作用.结果表明,在电压16400 V,电流0.23 A的条件下,在35.5 GHz处,该行波管输出功率1775 W,电子效率为47.11%,增益为42.5 dB,3 dB带宽范围28.5-36 GHz. Facing the development trend of high power and miniaturization of traveling wave tube,the slow wave structure with steet beam which is suitable for micromachining technology has become the research focus.The Ka band traveling wave tube is designed based on the rectangular-ring curve-bar slow wave structure.On the basis of optimizing the transmission characteristics of the slow wave structure,the beam-wave interaction of the traveling wave tube is simulated and calculated.The results show that under the conditions of voltage 16400V and current 0.23A,at 35.5 GHz,the power of the traveling wave tube reaches the optimal output power is 1775 W,the electronic efficiency is 47.11%,the gain is 42.5 dB,and the 3 dB bandwidth is 28.5-36 GHz.
