摘要 D.H.Lawrence made a masterly application of symbolism in Lady Chatterley??s Lover.This essay takes three main char?acters as examples to share his art of symbolism.The love affair between Connie and Mellors was rendered symbolic.Clifford symbolsinhumane industrialization;Mellors symbols Nature;Connie symbols pursuit of real life and true love.
