摘要
With the global boom of intercultural communication,Chinese audiences enjoy a great number of foreign films with subtitles translated into Chinese.Of all the attractive elements in a film,humor in subtitle is the primary source of entertainment for Chinese audiences.This paper studies the subtitle translation of humor in Lost in Translation,a classic film,aiming to explore the hu?mor expressions in linguistic perspective,analyze how humor in foreign films can be expressed in Chinese.
