汉语四字格使用广泛,翻译时可处理成直译,也可以是意译,这取决于语境和文体等情况.文章选择大二学生说明文翻译的译文作为语料库,探究其对汉语四字格翻译的处理方式,尝试用图式理论进行解读翻译过程,并从语境和文体两方面分析四字格英译成因,以期为汉语四字格翻译提供新思路.

The usage of four-character expressions is wide and its translation could be literal translation or free translation,which depends on context and style.Based on the corpora of translated texts of expository essay by sophomores,this essay investigates the translation methods of Chinese four-character expressions and explains the translation process with Schema Theory.And its translation reasons will be analyzed in terms of context and style,expecting to provide new ideas for translation of Chinese four-character expressions.
