With the development of globalization,cities in China are becoming more and more international.In this process,the English translation of regular public signs is becoming increasingly important.The quality of the English translation of public signs highlights the cultural and international level of the region.The paper takes the translation of regular public signs as examples to point out the common problems in the translating process of public signs,and to analyze the reasons then proposing measures to solve them on this basis.It is expected to play a reference role in improving the existing translating problems of public signs in China.
