摘要
中外教师合作教学,是适应非英语国家开展英语口语、阅读教学和双语教学时所采用的一种教学模式,具体是指一名中方英语教师和一名外籍教师同时进入课堂,两人的角色区分为主讲人和教学助手或合作者,以互动和协作的方式开展课堂教学的一种直接合作.文章将从培养学生跨文化交际能力出发,探讨中外教师单独授课存在的局限性、中外教师合作教学的优势,并介绍研究者本人在应用型本科院校综合英语课程中实施中外教师合作教学的具体实践.
Cooperative Teaching of Chinese and Foreign Teachers is a teaching mode adopted by non-English speaking countries to carry out oral English,English reading and bilingual teaching.Specifically,it refers to a Chinese English teacher and a foreign teacher entering the classroom at the same time to carry out classroom teaching in an interactive and collaborative manner.It is a direct cooperation between two teachers:one serving as the presenter,and the other as the teaching assistant or collaborator.This paper will explore the disadvantages and limitations of Chinese and foreign teachers teaching by himself or herself,and advantages of cooperative teaching between the two from the perspective of cultivating students’interculture communication competency,and finally introduce the author’s practice of cooperative teaching in Integrated Course in an application-oriented college.
