多模态话语分析视角下电影《怦然心动》字幕翻译探究

电影是融合了图片、声音、文字等多种符号资源的多模态语篇,电影字幕翻译也要综合考虑电影的多模态特点.文章以张德禄提出的多模态话语分析理论为框架,分别从文化层面、语境层面、内容层面、表达层面对电影《怦然心动》字幕进行分析,探讨图片、声音、音乐等模态相互作用的过程,为电影字幕的翻译提供不同的视角.

A movie is a multi-modal text that incorporates many symbolic resources,such as pictures,sounds,and texts.The translation of movie subtitles should also consider this characteristic.Based on the multi-modal discourse analysis theory proposed by Zhang Delu,this paper analyzes the subtitles of the movie Flipped from four levels:the cultural level,the context level,the content level,and the expression level,and discusses the interaction of pictures,sounds,and music in the movie.It aims to provide different perspectives for the translation of movie subtitles.
