赵炳南是现代中医皮肤科的奠基人和开拓者.燕京赵氏皮科流派在创始人赵炳南教授的带领下,提倡"重视整体,首辨阴阳",已成为中医皮肤科学术流派的代表之一.赵氏流派认为血是机体正常生命活动的基础,血的调节失常可能会导致神经性皮炎的产生和恶化,其根本病机在于血热、血瘀、血虚、血燥及兼夹症导致的血行失调,在标为风湿之邪客于肌腠,在本为营血失和不荣于外.故神经性皮炎应当从血论治,化用治血四法,通过凉血、活血、宁血、养血之法,并结合具体症候辨证辅以化湿、行气、祛风之品,以达到通调血脉,濡养肌腠的疗效,使血行得畅,肌肤得养.
