摘要
《四库全书总目》小说家类中,以“体例”不严谨等原因将《大唐新语》等7部作品明确标明从史部等处“退置”于小说家类中,此外还有12种作品虽未标明,但表达了同样的含义.此类“退置”作品的论述背后,隐藏着较为明显的门类地位之价值判断,这种判断既存在于小说与非小说之间,也存在于小说内部.四库馆臣的“史家体例”中,既包含了严肃的写作态度,也包含了描写内容的预设.
Seven works such as Da Tang Xin Yu,which originally belonged to the Department of History,are now under the category of novelists because they are"imprecise in style".Another twelve categories of works were treated in the same way though not marked.Behind the discussion of such"retreating"works,there is a more obvious value judgment of the category status.This judgment exhibits itself not only in the fiction and non-fiction classification but also within the novel genre.The"historian style"of the members of Siku Museum embodies both a serious writing attitude and a presupposition of the content of the works.
