大地不会显出更美的气象:只有灵魂迟钝的人才看不见这么庄严动人的伟大场面:这座城池如今把美丽的晨光当衣服穿上了,宁静而又开敞,船舶、塔楼、穹楼、剧场和教堂全都袒卧在大地上,面对着苍天,沐浴在无烟的清气中,灿烂辉煌。初阳的光辉浸润着岩谷、峰顶,也绝不比这更美;我也从没看见或感到过这么深沉的安宁!河水顺着自由意志向前推:亲爱的上帝!屋栉似都未醒;这颗伟大的心脏正在沉睡。
