Objective:analyze the incidence and high-risk factors of pulmonary nodules in the elderly. Methods:One hundred and eight people who underwent physical examination in the 83rd Group Military Hospital of the PLA Army from May 2018 to April 2021 were selected, and the incidence of pulmonary nodules of patients was counted. The researchers designed a baseline data questionnaire, recorded the baseline data of patients in detail, included possible influencing factors, and the influencing factors that might lead to pulmonary nodules in the elderly were found out. Results:After examination,32 of 108 elderly patients developed pulmonary nodules, with an incidence rate of 29.63%(32/108);compared long-term smoking, history of pulmonary tuberculosis and Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection between the two groups, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that long term smoking, history of pulmonary tuberculosis and Hp infection were the risk factors for the incidence of pulmonary nodules in elderly people(OR>1,P<0.05).Conclusion:The incidence of pulmonary nodules in the elderly is high,long-term smoking, history of pulmonary tuberculosis and Hp infection are risk factors for lung nodules in the elderly.
