On the Meaning of"Haojiahuo"and Its Motivation of Formation

现代汉语中"好家伙"是表达说话人情感和语气的情态标记语.语义上"好家伙"表达的是说话人人际感情色彩的情态意义;表义类别上"好家伙"可表达惊讶、赞叹、夸张、不满,出乎意外等各种话语情态意义,其中惊讶和赞叹是核心意义,而夸张、不满等是非核心意义."好家伙"情态意义的形成受制于三个因素:一是其构成成分本身的性质,二是其所处的句法语义环境,三是话语环境中语用推理的影响,合作原则中"量的准则"和经济原则对"好家伙"情态意义的形成有重要作用.

“Haojiahuo”is a modal marker to express the speaker's emotion and mood.In the view of semantics,the meaning of“haojiahuo”is usually used to express emotional mean ing from interpersonal communication.In the view of the range of meaning,“haojiahuo”can convey many emotional meanings:surprise,sigh,exaggeration,dissatisfaction and so on.They are affected by syntactic context,semantic collocation and pragmatic inference.The maxim of quantity and the economic principles are important in its meaning expression.
