With the increasing urgency of the global environmental situation and the demand for sustainable development,the traditional education model has become inadequate in meeting the training needs of professionals in mine safety engineering.To continuously adapt to the demands and developments in the dual carbon background,it is crucial to continuously optimize and improve education models,strengthen teacher training and team building,while seeking support and recognition from all sectors of society.Therefore,this paper proposes a new educational concept and goal,aiming to cultivate mine safety engineering professionals with environmental awareness,a sustainable development mindset,and innovative abilities.The implementation of this new model plays a vital role in nurturing mine safety engineering professionals who possess environmental awareness,a sustainable development mindset,and innovative abilities.
