The professional certification of engineering education is the inevitable trend of the development of engineering major in colleges and universities in our country.It is the standard of international engineering degree mutual recognition,and also a guarantee for the quality of engineering education.Guided by the engineering education certification,this paper explores the reform of the experimental system of polymer materials and engineering specialty in colleges and universities with traffic characteristics,focuses on the cultivation of students'engineering practice ability,and stimulates students'awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship.
