摘要
柏拉图处在雅典民主制度正逐步走向衰落的时期,为了挽救生命垂危的民主制度柏拉图十分推崇教育的重要作用,因此,《理想国》中蕴含了丰富的教育思想.柏拉图所推崇的教育是一种循序渐进的阶段性教育,每个教育阶段是根据人在不同年龄阶段的心理、生理发展特点划分.柏拉图认为教育的目的在于追求至善,要达到至善的教育目的就要先有个人之善然后最终实现集体之善.《理想国》中所蕴含的教育思想仍然对现代有很大的启示意义,如提倡终生教育、因材施教等.
Plato was in a period when the democratic system of Athens was gradually declining.In order to save the dying democratic system,Plato highly advocated the important role of education.Therefore,the republic contains rich educational thoughts.Education advocated by Plato is a kind of gradual education,and each education stage is divided according to the psychological and physiological development characteristics of people at different ages.Plato believes that the purpose of education is to pursue the supreme good,and to achieve the ultimate goal of education is to have the individual good and then finally realize the collective good.The educational thoughts contained in the republic are still of great enlightenment to modern times,such as advocating lifelong education and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.
