The connotation and application scope of health assessment related indicators are very important.This paper reviewed the concept,significance and applicable objects of the commonly used indicators of health assessment by referring to the relevant literature,and distinguished and compared them.It provides some useful knowledge and reference for the correct understanding and use of these indicators.There are some correlations among health hazards and risk factors identification,health risk assessment,health status assessment and disease risk assessment,but the research objects,purposes and methods are different.We should use the related nouns correctly in practice.
