摘要
清華八《虞夏殷周之治》中"海外之諸侯通而不來"的"䢜",或釋作"歸",或讀作"饋"或"餽",均有未安.本文認爲"䢜"應讀爲"懷",訓爲"受安撫".簡文"海外之諸侯懷而不來"意爲海外的諸侯卽使受到安撫也不來.
The character gui(䢜)in the sentence hai wai zhi zhu hou gui er bu lai(海外之諸侯通而不來)in chapter The Rule of Yu,Xia,Yin and Zhou of The Eighth Book of Bamboo Slips from the Warring States Period Collected by Tsinghua University has been interpreted as gui(歸)or read as kui(饋)or kui(餽)by some scholars.This paper holds that gui(䢜)should be read as huai(懷),which means to be appeased.The sentence hai wai zhi zhu hou huai er bu lai(海外之諸侯懷而不來)means that the feudal lords from overseas will not come even if they are appeased.
