新型口袋式微型裂变电离室设计进展

摘要 口袋式微型裂变电离室(MPFD)是美国堪萨斯州立大学半导体材料与辐射技术实验室提出的一种具有创新性,具备耐辐照、耐高温特性的先进堆芯中子注量率探测器设计.本文简要介绍了堪萨斯州立大学MPFD的基本设计思想及其主要设计结果,并结合本研究长期以来在裂变电离室设计和研发过程中积累的经验,对MPFD进行了优化设计.目前原理型工程样机正在装配和测试中,未来有望用于核反应堆堆芯三维中子注量在线监测、材料辐照考核的原位中子注量率在线测量,以及特殊中子场下的裂变过程微观核参数研究等. Micro-Pocket Fission Detector is an innovative design of advanced in-core neutron fluence rate detector with radiation resistance and high temperature resistance proposed by the semiconductor materials and Radiation Technology Laboratory of Kansas State University(S.M.A.R.T).This paper briefly introduces the basic design idea and main design results of MPFD designed by Kansas State University.Combined with the experience accumulated by our research group in the design and development of fission ionization chamber for a long time,the MPFD is optimized.At present,the principle engineering prototype is being assembled and tested.In the future,it is expected to be used for on-line monitoring of three-dimensional neutron fluence rate in the core of nuclear reactor,on-line measurement of in-situ neutron fluence rate for material irradiation assessment,and research on microcosmic nuclear parameters of fission process in special neutron field.
