Study on Crosstalk Correction Algorithm for Neutron Multiplicity Counting Using Liquid Scintillators

摘要 针对液体闪烁体中子多重性测量中的中子串扰效应,基于6个液闪构成的多重性测量装置,引入描述串扰比例的因子,建立了串扰修正的算法。利用^(252)Cf标准源的实验测量以及相应的Geant4模拟,对串扰修正算法进行了验证。模拟显示串扰修正后分析结果与真值的相对偏差为0.34%,实验测量显示串扰修正使得分析结果相对偏差较修正前降低了1.07%,这与模拟情况降低的0.87%较为吻合。 Based on aneutron multiplicity counterwith six liquid scintillators,a correction algorithm is established for neutron crosstalk effects by introducing factors describing fractions of the crosstalk events.The crosstalk correction algorithm is verified by experimental measurement of a standard ^(252)Cf source and corresponding Geant4 simulation.The simulation shows that relative deviation of theanalysis results after crosstalk correction is 0.34%.The experiment show that the crosstalk correction reduces the relative deviation of results by 1.07%compared with that before correction,which is consistent with the reduction of 0.87%in simulation.
