Liver transplantation(LT)was offered to some colorectal cancer(CRC)patients with liver only metastases in the 1990s,however the treatment option was discontinued due to poor overall survival(OS)of 43%at 2 years posttransplant combined with the scarcity of donor organs at that time(1).
