Objective To observe the effect of rehabilitation treatment of thoracolumbar compression fractures with core strength training. Methods 125 patients with thoracolumbar compression fractures admitted to the hospital from March 2019 to April 2020 were selected as the research objects. They were grouped according to the time of admission.62 cases in the control group received conventional rehabilitation treatment, and 63 cases in the observation group received core strength training on the basis of conventional rehabilitation treatment. The range of motion of the lumbar spine and the pain degree and dysfunction score before and after treatment between the two groups were compared. Results The lumbar spine mobility of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, the differences in ODI and VAS scores between the groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05);at 4 and 12 weeks after treatment, the ODI and VAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Core strength training for patients with thoracolumbar compression fractures can improve lumbar spine mobility, improve lumbar spine dysfunction, and reduce lumbar pain.It is worthy of promotion.
