晚清海内外华媒对刘铭传治台政策的认知分歧——基于《申报》与《叻报》涉台报道的比较分析(1888—1891年)

On the Cognitive Differences of Chinese Media at Home and Abroad on Liu Mingchuan’s Policy of Governing Taiwan

通过比较分析1888-1891年间上海《申报》与新加坡《叻报》的涉台报道,揭示海内外华媒对刘铭传抚台时期“治台之要”“治台之失”以及总体评价等三方面存在明显的认知分歧,折射出晚清海内外华人社会思想的纷繁与价值的多元,同时再现刘铭传抚台时期复杂的外部舆论环境,从而进一步推动对刘铭传治台方略的研究.

By comparing and analyzing the Taiwan-related reports of Shen Bao(Shanghai) and Le Bao(Singapore) from 1888 to 1891,this paper suggests the cognitive differences between domestic and overseas Chinese media on "the key to governing Taiwan"," the mistake of governing policy"and the overall evaluation during the period of Liu Mingchuan’s caressing Taiwan,reproduces the complicated external public opinion environment,reflects the complexity and diversity of Chinese social thoughts in the Late Qing Dynasty,and thus further promotes the study of Liu Mingchuan’s strategy of governing Taiwan.
