沈泽民是中共创建时期入党的老党员.他学习马克思主义、传播马克思主义、坚信马克思主义.由于偏重于从书本上理解中国革命,结合实际不够,曾经落入教条主义窠臼.他在六届四中全会上被补选为中央委员,是鄂豫皖苏区主要领导人之一,在'左'倾教条主义统治全党的大背景下,犯了'左'的错误.在严重的挫折和错误面前,他幡然憬悟,不惜刀刃向内、严肃解剖、深刻反思,在一定程度上摆脱了'左'倾教条主义的束缚,留下自我革命的光辉形象.他被誉为'中国的红星',始终不忘初心,鞠躬尽瘁,死而后已,在人生的天空中划出了一道壮丽彩虹,光照后人.

Shen Zemin,a founding member of the CPC,studied and spread Marxism,and held firm faith in it.However,due to his narrow understanding of the Chinese revolution from Marxist textbooks instead of combining theory with Chinese context,he fell into the trap of dogmatism.He was elected to the Party Central Committee at the Fourth Plenary Session of the Party’s Sixth Central Committee.Being one of the main leaders of the Soviet Area of Hubei,Henan,and Anhui provinces,he made some“left”mistakes in a context where the“left”doctrine prevailed amid the Party.Faced with serious setbacks,he eventually realized his mistakes and did not hesitate to correct the wrongs.He introspected and examined himself in-depths,getting himself out of the shackles of“left”dogmatism,setting a model of self-revolution.Known as“the red star of China”,he remained true to his original aspiration as a communist all his life,dedicated himself to the revolution till his death,offering a shining example for the later generations.
