小儿咳嗽是临床常见的一种肺系疾病,发病频繁,寒热虚实变化较成人更为迅速.现代医学主要治以抗感染、 化痰止咳、 抗过敏等,症状控制较慢,极易发展成为慢性咳嗽,成为临床治疗的'瓶颈'.总结历代医家对小儿生理病理特点的相关论述,以指导小儿咳嗽临床诊治.

Children’s cough is a common pulmonary disease in clinic.It occurs frequently.The changes of deficiency and excess of cold and heat are more rapid than those of adults.Modern medicine mainly treats infections,expectoration,cough relief,allergy and so on.Symptoms are controlled slowly and easily develop into chronic cough,which becomes the“bottleneck”of clinical treatment.The author summarizes the related discussions of pediatric physiology and pathology by physicians of past dynasties in order to guide the clinical diagnosis and treatment of pediatric cough.
