摘要
埃兹拉·庞德是西方诗坛上影响极大的诗人,同时也是一位对中国文化充满热爱的翻译家.作为译者,他不仅翻译过大量的儒家经典,而且还向西方国家译介了许多中国古诗,其中以 《华夏集》 最为著名.本文探讨了庞德在译介中国古诗时所采用的具体方略,以期为中国古典诗歌'走出去'提供相应的启示.研究结果表明,正是由于庞德巧妙地运用了'契合时局的翻译选材''跨越中西的诗意融合''古今相谐的艺术呈现'以及'唯美创新的诗歌节奏'等译介策略,其译诗才能在西方国家获得巨大成功.
Ezra Pound,a well-known poet in the western world as well as a scholar who is interested in Chinese culture,has not only introduced most of the Chinese classics to the west countries but translated a lot of Chinese ancient poems into English,among which Cathy gained the greatest reputation.This paper aims to analyse the translation strategy to Pound’s Cathy and futher intends to give some suggestions on the outgoing of the Chinese literature.The results show,due to the strategies such as“proper compilation”“intergtated translation”“timeacrossed skills”and“creative rhythms”,Pound’s translaion has made a huge impact in the west countries.
