敦煌文献曾通二摄之间的同音互代现象

The Phenomenon of Homophone Substitution between Zeng(曾)Rhyme Group and Tong(通)Rhyme Group in Dunhuang Documents

敦煌文献中有一些曾摄登韵系字与通摄字的互代例,可以与敦煌韵文、音注和对音相互印证,反映出唐五代西北方音中一部分曾摄登韵系合口牙喉音字和唇音字变得与通摄字韵母相同.出现这种早于中原汉语的语音变化与唐五代河西地区特殊的政治背景和社会背景有密切关系.

Many substitution examples show the substitution between zeng (曾) rhyme group and tong (通) rhyme group in Dunhuang documents. This phenomenon can be confirmed by notes, verse and diaphone literature of Dunhuang. In fact, it reflects that some parts of zeng rhyme group are the same with vowels of tong rhyme group in the northwest dialects of the Tang and the Five Dynasties. This early rhyme change is closely related to the special political and social background of Hexi (河西) Region in the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties.
