笑气镇静技术在儿童牙科的应用

Sedation with Nitrous Oxide/oxygen for Dental Treatment in the Paediatric Dental Patient

目的:评价笑气镇静系统对于儿童牙科临床应用的疗效。方法随机选取2012年~2013年我科4~8岁23例儿童牙科畏惧症患,征得患儿家长同意下使用笑气镇静系统,记录术前术后的镇静情况。观察患儿对治疗的依从性及对治疗的反应。结果90%以上的患儿达到儿童牙科治疗的镇静要求。结论笑气镇静可以有效提升患儿对牙科治疗的依从性。

Objective To evaluate the ef icacy of nitrous oxide/oxygen(N2O2)for the patient with dental anxiety in paediatrie dentistry.Methods Twenty-three patients(age range,5~8 years)with dental anxiety were choosed for dental treatment in the year of 2012~2013.We used nitrous oxide/oxygen(N2O2)for the patients after the parent's agreements,we assessed patient behavior before and after inhalation N2O2,adverse event were recorded.Results Above 90%patients successful y completed treatment using nitrous oxide/oxygen sedation.Conclusion Inhalation of N2O2 is indicated to al eviate pain and anxiety during routine treatment.It helps uncooperative children with dental anxiety to cope with dentaltreatment.
