Negotiation of meaning,as the favorable performance of communicative competence,aims to get mutual understanding in interaction and reach an consensus in meaning.During the process of foreign language learning,student-student interaction is one of the foremost factors to promote foreign language acquisition.This thesis introduces the definition,the classifications and the modes of negotiation of meaning between student-student interaction.
