Taking the construction of Lihuading long tunnel as an example,this article introduced how to establish the GPS independent horizontal control network with the method of fixing one point and one azimuth angle adjustment to improve the accuracy of control network.This method could optimize the measurement plan and expect the error successfully,thus the success penetration of the tunnel is ensured.Meanwhile,it could provide reference for similar theoretical research and engineering practice in the future.
