《说文解字》旁见说解对小篆构形构意系统的体现

Unity of Form and Meaning of Small Seal Script Embodied in Pangjian Shuojie of Shuowen Jiezi

“旁见说解”是《说文解字》中的一种特殊说解方式,即在一个篆文的说解里涉及对另一个篆文的形体或意义的说明.根据训释的对象不同,《说文》中的旁见说解可以分为两类:一类是对释义中的某个词进行解释,一类是对形体分析中的某个构件加以说明.笔者对《说文解字》中的旁见说解进行了搜集,发现后一类型占绝大多数,有二百余处.这些旁见说解对于深入理解许慎在《说文》中所描写、构造的小篆构形与构意系统有着非常重要的作用.文章从辨明形体、说明构意与“同意”互证三个方面进行探讨.

"Pangjian Shuojie" is a special way for explaining in Shuowen Jiezi.It is an attached explanation of another seal character in the interpretation of the seal character.According to the object of explanation,there are two types of "Pangjian Shuojie".One type is to interpret a word’s meaning.The other is to explain a character component,which is the element making up the character. The authors collect all the cases of "Pangjian Shuojie"in Shuowen Jiezi.The second type accounts for the vast majority and there are more than 200 cases of this type.These cases are very important for in-depth understanding of the union system of form and meaning of small seal scripts in Shuowen Jiezi.This paper discusses the functions of these"Pangjian Shuojie"from three aspects: to indent the form,to interpret conformation intent,and to compare characters of "same intention".
