In this paper,anewtype offoundation pit supporting structure--“vertical prestressed anchor cable composite cement soilwall”in soft soil deep foundation pit is introduced with the application of vertical prestressed anchorcable in a deep foundation pit project in the Pearl River Delta.The program selection,design check calculation,structural structure,construction organization,construction technology,construction requirements and precautions in the protection project provide a typical example for the design and construction of foundation pit support in soft soil areas such as the Pearl River Delta.
