摘要
With the rapid development of science andtechnology, more and more devices are increasingly demandingtime accuracy and synchronization. In this paper, an FPGA-based GPS positioning and timing information display system isdesigned. The GPS timing information acquisition, processing anddisplay program is written in Verilog HDL hardware descriptionlanguage. The design ideas and implementation methods of eachdifferent functional module are expounded. In the actual operationprocess, the system can realize the GPS timing information andthe correct display of the positioning latitude and longitude, andcomplete the UTC time to Beijing time conversion display, whichhas good practicability.
