《利济学堂报》考辨——兼论中国校报的起源

Textual Research on Liji School Magazine——And Analysis on the Origin of Chinese School Newspaper

本文经考证认为,《利济学堂报》是中国历史上的第一个校报。该报虽由医学堂出版,但其内容远远超出医学范畴,是一个学术与时政相结合的刊物。它传播西学新知,探讨社会改革,对维新变法起了宣传推动作用。该报的创办及功能,折射出中国校报兴起的背景与特点。

As a result of textual research by the author, LiJi School Magazine is the first school newspaper in China.Although being published by a medical school, its contents is beyond medical category. It combines science and politics,communicates with western knowledge, discusses society transform and promotes the Political Reform of 1890s. Also itis a reflection of the character of the Chinese school newspapers.
