浙江省县级社区学院发展背景、现状与趋势

Background,Status and Trend of Development of County Community Colleges in Zhejiang Province

县级社区学院是我国农村高等教育体系的主要载体,一般设立于县市内,由县级政府主办,县域基础教育、职业教育、成人教育、社区教育、高等教育等多种教育统筹整合,农科教等部门共同参与,采取多种教育手段和方式提供便利的学习机会和满足学习者多方面学习需求的农村高等教育机构。近年来,随着小康社会、和谐社会和新农村建设的推进,我国高等教育大众化惠及农村政策的导向,农村高等教育体系的主要载体县级社区学院,率先在江浙一带发展起来。截止2007年5月,浙江省90个县(市、区)中,有46个成立了社区学院,占51%;筹建的11所,占12%;待建的33所,占37%。

County community colleges are main institutions of higher education in China's rural areas.Together with other relevant organizations,they provide education of a basic,vocational,adult,and/or community nature.With increased economic development and popularization of higher education,county community colleges first appeared in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province.By May 2007,46 of the 90 counties and county-level cities in Zhejiang Province(51%) had set up a community college,11(12%) were in the process of building a community college,and 33(37%) had plans to build one.
