从艾尔加《雪花》看浪漫主义时期合唱作品的指挥思维

Conducting Notions of Romantic Choral Works By analyzing Elgar's choral piece:"the Snow"

爱德华·艾尔加(EdwardElgar,1857-1934)是19世纪末20世纪初英国最重要的作曲家之一,他的乐队作品《谜语变奏曲》《威仪堂堂进行曲》《大提琴协奏曲》等深为人们所熟悉,合唱曲《雪花》在我国也广被传唱,成为不少合唱团的保留经典曲目。艾尔加作品的不凡之处在于他能把高雅的陈述与流行风格相结合,这个特点在他一生所创作的约50首合唱作品中表现得极为突出,可以说,艾尔加在合唱中运用的典型浪漫主义的表现手法很有代表性。本文希望通过对这首作品的分析,为同时期的浪漫主义作品的指挥艺术处理手法提供一些借鉴。

Edward Elgar(1857-1934) was the most significant British composer of his time.His career straddled the 19th and 20th centuries and is remarkable for producing some of the best-loved works of the English repertoire range over orchestral and chamber works as well as instrumental and keyboard music.Among those well-known pieces as the Cello Concerto and the Enigma Variations are his dazzling choral works distinguished by well-combination of elegance and fashion,which typically give expression to classical-romanticism in modern choral art.Analysis will be given herein to one of Elgar's familiarized choral songs called 'The Snow',to provide hints and skills for conducting and reproducing such romantic-kind of choral music of the same era.
