本文以对达尔豪斯《音乐史学原理》第四章《关于音乐历史"主体"的探问》为主要文献的整合性阅读引述为基础,对其所提出的音乐历史"主体"、连续性与否的历史阐释等方面,结合音乐历史实例作以美学探问,从音乐美学的认知角度初步追究如是所述是否存在、如何存在等问题,并对相关音乐史写作予以初步的建设性描绘。
