女性反抗是关汉卿杂剧最有价值的独创。窦娥之斥骂天地,燕燕之追求平等,杜芯娘之维护尊严,赵盼儿之侠义豪情,皆体现了关汉卿对社会的反思和批判。这些女性的反抗在文学史上是独创的,不仅不同于前人,而且对后代文学的女性形象的塑造有着深刻的影响。

Women's resistance to equality is the valuable idea in the opera creation of Guan Hanqing. For example, Dou er's curse, Yanyan's desire for equality, Du Xinliang's protecting self-esteem, Zhao Pan er's knightly doings reflect Guan Hanqing’s thinking and criticism about the society of Yuan dynasty. There is not such equality idea for woman in the literature before Guan Hanqing's opera creation, and his composition had much influence on the literature afterwards.
