铁凝的小说中一直贯穿着她对错综复杂的社会关系中人的荒谬存在——失语处境的关注,这主要集中表现在她80年代末90年代初以来的一系列中短篇小说中。在对失语的直面与叩问中,铁凝艰难地维系着自己文学表达的不失语。

The novel taking female as the topic makes Tie Ning's succesful position in the contemporary novel field in China.But thoroughly her novels are always of her focus on the aphasia,namely the absurd existence of human being in the labyrinth sociery.This mainly concentrates on a series of short stories which are written by tie Ning between the end of 1980's and the beginning of 1990's.She severely refrains from the aphasia in her literature expression when she faces and searches a solution to the aphasia to keep her literary expression loud.
