摘要
本研究对120篇中国学习者议论文和175篇美国大学生的议论文进行了对比研究,目的在于发现中、美大学生在议论文写作中构建作者立场的表达方式上异同。研究发现,中、美大学生在构建作者立场时,使用的主观和客观论点表达方式并不存在整体数量上的显著差异。但是,这些不同的表达方式在中、美大学生的议论文中的功能有不同之处。
Based on the different corpus including 120 pieces of composition written by Chinese EFL learners and 175 pieces of composition by American college students,the present study probes into the use of devices for writer stance between Chinese and American students.The findings indicate that there is no significant statistical difference of subjective and objective expression of stance between Chinese and American students.Nevertheless,there exist some differences in the use of the concrete devices,such as 'I think' and 'we must' as well as some similarities.
