The characteristics 、technique criterion and substrate protocol of the CAN_BUS are studied and analyzed in this paper, and according to the development characteristic and present situation of the Supervisory System of the engineering mechanism, the hardware circuit and software of the CAN_BUS in the Supervisory System of the engineering mechanism are designed. The technology of the CAN bus is used successfully in the Supervisory System of the engineering mechanism.
