On Feminism Translation Theory

女性主义为翻译研究提供了一个新视角,从性别研究的角度对传统翻译理论中的某些重要概念进行了重新阐释,并提出了自己独到的见解。首先探讨了翻译被性别化的根源,进而对女性主义的翻译主张作简要分析,最后指出虽然女性主义的翻译理论拓展了翻译研究的视角,但不应当放弃原有的视角,在强调译者主体性的同时,不应当忽略原文的客观存在性。

Feminism provides translation study with a new perspective, reinterprets some key concepts in traditional translation theory from the perspective of gender study, and put forward its own translation theory. The present paper first explores the reason why translation is sexualized and then makes a brief analysis of its translation theory, and finally it points out that though feminism translation theory widens the perspective of translation study, the original perspective cannot be abandoned and the objective existence of original text cannot be neglected when translators subjectivity is emphasized.
